Tiltbrush
This VR TiltBrush experimentation exists at the intersection of mythology and reality, documenting the geographical and cultural aspects of pre-Qin China while imagining a wide array of fantastical creatures—akin to a Chinese counterpart of Ovid’s Metamorphoses. The project utilizes Tilt Brush to recreate these mythological beings, bringing them to life in a virtual realm.

Technology makes the translation process intuitive. Tilt Brush not only facilitates the creation of these drawings but also documents the drawing process itself, allowing the flow of time to be visualized and crystallized as the process is replayed. This installation opens up exciting possibilities for visually translating literature with significant artistic and social potential. Abstract but profound works, such as Borges’ El Aleph or Dante’s Inferno, could be brought to life through similar means. Moreover, such projects hold immense value for educational purposes, offering innovative ways to enhance learning—especially for students affected by reading disabilities.
